Where I Get Great Sterling Silver Necklaces

Saturday, August 27th, 2011

The 925 Sterling Silver Jewelry store has the most beautiful Sterling Silver necklaces that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. There statement of, “Where quality meets value” is so very true. I have shopped department store jewelry counters and the jewelry stores in malls and shopping centers. I have even shopped the works of artists who make custom silver jewelry. I have always liked silver. It is my metal of choice for jewelry. I have never seen the quality and variety that is available at the 925 store. My friends buy costume jewelry at prices I get really good jewelry at. I am so glad that I found this source. I’m asked all of the time where I get my pieces. Years ago I didn’t want to reveal a good source so that everyone around me wouldn’t end up with the jewelry pieces I like. This store has such a variety that I don’t think that will be a problem.

My Daughter's Choice in when It Comes to Dress and Grooming

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

Fashion has changed a great deal since I was young. When I was younger it seemed that people were more conservative when it came to what they were wearing. That does not mean however that the younger generation did not try to express themselves by the way that they dress. They did, however they did in a way that was a little less extreme than what we see today. As a parent it seems like I’m always walking a fine line. It is a line between what I think is on acceptable, and what I can accept. For example there are some things that I just will not allow my minor daughters to do. I told them that until they are over 18 I would not allow them to get tattoos. I just think that as minors they are too young to make a decision that will affect their appearance for the rest of the lives. One thing though that I have allowed both of my daughters to do is get belly rings.

A Brief History of Time – The Rolex Watch Company

Rolex has long been considered the gold standard when it comes to luxury timepieces, but do you know the history of this famous nameplate. The history of Rolex is a fascinating one – a story of dedication, hard work and a commitment to making the finest watch on the planet.

It all begins in 1905, when a man named Hans Wilsdorf, along with brother-in-law Alfred Davis, founded the aptly named Wilsdorf and Davis in London. At that time the company imported the fine Swiss movements created by Hermann Aegler and installed them in the equally fine cases created by Dennison and other makers. The resulting watches were then sold to jewelers throughout the country, with the first watches from Wilsdorf and Davis bearing the W&D mark on the inside of the case.

It was not until three years later, in 1908, that the name Rolex was trademarked by Mr. Wilsdorf, and it was another seven years before the Rolex name was trademarked in 1915. While the origins and meaning of the word Rolex are obscure and difficult to verify, today the Rolex nameplate has come to signify the epitome of style, skill and craftsmanship in the world of luxury watch making.

Rolex enthusiasts already know that the watch they wear has a long history of innovation, cutting edge technology and timeless style. It is these qualities that have made Rolex watches must have accessories for everyone from pop stars and professional athletes to business executives and politicians. Those movers and shakers understand the importance of style and taste, and they understand the value of a fine timepiece.

Celebrating Birthday with My Cousin

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

I am thinking of the best birthday present ideas for my cousin. Today is her birthday and she just called me to have a dinner with her this evening. She is currently teaching at a preschool and quite busy with her work. Last year, I could still remember giving her a Barbie doll as my birthday presents. We are taking a lot of pictures while she blew the candle, open the gifs and wears party hat. Today, I can’t think on how we are going to celebrate her birthday since we are both busy. All of us are busy in our own activities. Maybe because it is a weekday and we’ve got a lot of workloads to do. Well, I’ve just greeted her this morning. Today, even if I am quite occupied with my work I have to make sure to buy some presents for my cousin and hopefully she will like it.
